TikTok tests reducing music options
TikTok is currently running a test with some of their Australian users which will restrict them from adding certain music to their video clips. The experiment is to assess how much users value music in their videos. This may be related to TikTok looking to put a dollar value on music use.
Instagram's co-founders create new app called Artifact
Artifact is an app that will generate a personalized news feed that uses AI to understand your interests. They describe it as a TikTok for text.
Twitter cancels its "Co-Tweet" test
The Co-Tweet feature has been in testing since July 2022 but has been cancelled. The feature allowed selected users to collaborate on a tweet with another user.
OpenAI announces a paid subscription for ChatGBT
ChatGBT will now be switching to a freemium model with a new paid option that will be priced at $20 a month. The paid option will increase access to ChatGBT all the time (even during peak hours), faster response times and priority access to new features.
