Want to use trending audio but don't have the time to find them yourself? You're in luck! We update this blog every Friday with 5 options for trending audio on Instagram and 5 options for trending audio on TikTok.

What is trending audio?

Trending audio refers to sound clips, music tracks, or audio snippets that gain popularity and widespread usage on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Because these audios often influence user-generated videos and become associated with specific trends, challenges, or memes, Instagram and TikTok take them seriously when ranking content.

This week's trending audio for Instagram Reels and how to use them

Original audio- roysdigitalmedia

The internet loves to joke around about how the younger generation gets too comfortable with their elders. This sound is the perfect way to showcase this. For this particular trend you will need 3 volunteers to act out the lines. It would be 2 younger people and a senior (could be senior in position or age). The oldest will start with "Hey hey I'm talking". When one of the younger ones says "Okay my apologies Miss girl". The eldest must respond shocked and offended when saying: "Miss who?" That's when the 3rd person interjects by saying: "She's not a girl. It's Miss Toler." The final line would be said by the eldest: "It's judge Toler, be quiet, I have a question!". You can take a look at Roys Digital Media's take on this trend.

Mean girls- 80% of the time - lizmariegalvan

You can use this trend to highlight a hobby or a skill you are really passionate about. You can start off by lip syncing: "I spent about 80 percent of my time talking about Regina." Make sure to add the quote to your screen and changing Regina with the topic you love to talk about. Then you finish the video by saying: "And the other 20 percent of the time, I was praying for someone else to bring her up so I could talk about her more." You still have to add the caption on your screen but you can keep the quote similar. Take a look at Brittany's example.

Ready to showcase your superpower? This audio is the perfect sound to do so. You start off with a clip of you getting ready to start a task. Once the beat drops you add a time lapse of the a skill or service you offer. Here is an example by Marina.

Talented brilliant - newskinlaserstudio

This sound is a classic on the internet. It's a great way to hype something up. All you have to do is lip sync "Talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before" and add text of the situation that deserves such high praise from you. Look at Nicole using this sound.

Original audio - pxlesthetics

For this trend, you'll need to start with a statement during the chaotic part of the sound: "I don't know how you [something you do daily within your niche] everyday." Once it shifts to the nice part, you show your job with the caption "my brain when I [something you do daily within your niche]." You can see how much The Lightheart Coffee Shop loves making coffees. This sound has been trending for a couple of weeks and can definitely still be used.

This week's trending audio for TikTok and how to use them

okay you got me there - trisha (lana’s version) 🇹🇹

You can use this audio to poke fun at something harmless that you do. All you have to do is mouth: "Okay. You got me there. But that is not a crime." while adding the text: "Me when I do X". Take a look at Freckle Digital's not a crime moment.

Original sound - tiktokcontent

If you haven't hopped on this trend yet, no worries at all because it's still popular. It's the perfect way to poke fun at yourself or highlight your business. You can use a clip of yourself or the product you offer and add the text "Hi Sharks! I am asking for $x to do xyz and in return you'll get y." The sillier the better. Look at how Dinner Done Ready to Cook promoted their business via the Shark Tank trend.

Original sound - BREE

If you want to be extra dramatic you can use this sound. You don't even have to lip sync you can simply dramatically look at someone while the sound plays: "This is me not reaching out. This is me fighting every urge to tell you about my day to learn about yours." Check out the Cowboy Casino's version.

Youre gonna choke Love Is Blind - Netflix

This is your moment to cosplay as an influencer at work. You can pretend to be on a live while in a Zoom meeting. You can say: "I'm just waiting for a few more people to join" like an influencer and vibe to the music while reading comments like "You're so pretty" and "I wish I was you". Take a look at Havas Biddable Hub's hilarious version.

Sonido original - NLS MODELS

If you haven't hopped onto the Glambot trend, this is your moment to shine. The Glambot originated from celebrity red carpet events such as the Oscars and has been a fan-favourite for years now. Everyone is hopping onto the trend and re-creating their own homemade versions at home (or the office). All you have to do is model in front of the camera while turning around. Make sure to put the video in slow motion. The team at Born Social killed this trend.
