Hey, I'm Joe

“I used to run my own social media agency and soon hit scaling challenges. Back then, I used a mix of tools like Hootsuite and spreadsheets just to keep everyone, especially clients, on the same page. Sounds familiar? It got confusing, and clients were unhappy due to all the back-and-forth on spreadsheets. That's when I realized there had to be a better way. So, with the help of our community, we set out to create a social media scheduler that's easy for teams to work together on and most importantly one that is really friendly for clients. We are so happy. you've found us, and we can't wait for you to experience the HeyOrca difference”

Our history

Once upon a time, our Chief Executive Orca Joe’s boutique social media marketing agency was drowning in spreadsheets, complicated tech, and lengthy email chains.

Since most tools were made for big corporations, the team decided to create a tool to help small-but-mighty social media teams work better, together.

HeyOrca was born in 2015 and since then has been adopted by [heyorca-users-count] users and counting!

What does HeyOrca mean?

HeyOrca is a nod to our social spirit and Newfoundland roots. In the wild, orcas are playful, social, cheerful, and intuitive. Just like us!

Fun fact: we surveyed Newfoundlanders at a Starbucks to pick our name! HeyKoala, HiOrcas, and HelloRaccoon were just a few of the options at the time.
