At HeyOrca, we believe in empowering social media managers and teams to streamline their workflows and save valuable time. That's why we are thrilled to announce expansion of our media library folders to now be available to all HeyOrca plans! 

In this blog post, we'll dive into some of the benefits of using media folders and how they can help your team increase organization of your media assets as well as some tips and tricks to get the most out of folders!.

Effortless Media Organization: Gone are the days of searching through a sea of uploaded image, video and GIF files to find the perfect media asset for your social media posts. By using folders, you can group files by campaign, client, theme, or any other criteria that suits your specific workflow. 

For example, if you’ve got media for a holiday campaign such as Christmas, that is no longer relevant during the remainder of the year, you can create a folder named ‘Christmas 2022’ and move all the items into it! The images will be grouped and moved to the designated folder for when they’re ready to be used!

Folders allow you to categorize and sort your files effortlessly. With a few simple clicks, you can create folders and start organizing your media library with ease.

Streamlined Collaboration: Collaboration is a crucial aspect of effective social media management, especially when working with a team on a shared space. As your team grows and creates more content, your media library will naturally have more uploaded files.With the use of folders, each team member can create their own designated space to store relevant content within the same calendar’s media library. By keeping everyone on the same page, folders promote smoother workflows and efficient content creation processes while reducing the time spent finding the right media!

Archiving and Restoring Folders: Folders along with regular media can also be archived into a designated archive folder, Allowing you to easily remove any content you don’t want visible in your media library, without having to delete it! For example, if you’re done with a particular campaign, but would like to retain the assets, you can use the bulk drag and drop features to move this media into a folder. Once the content has been moved into the folder, it can then be archived until it’s ready for use again! Archiving folders and media can also be done in bulk to save even more time!
