Instagram rolls out a new way for Creators to make money
After testing this feature since November, Instagram has announced that eligible Reels creators in the US will be able to accept virtual gifts from their fans via a button on their video. Users can purchase virtual gifts and with each virtual gift a creator receives, they get $0.01.
You can now boost other people’s videos on TikTok
TikTok is adding new features to its ad portal, Promote, including the ability to boost other people’s videos.
TikTok is testing a way to reset your FYP
If you are tired of your usual FYP, don’t worry! TikTok is currently working on a way to reset your FYP and start fresh.
Facebook releases new comment moderation tools
Creators will be able to search comments by keywords, emojis, names and dates along with new bulk actions.
Twitter Blue introduces 4,000-character tweets
Twitter Blue users now have to ability to create tweets up to 4,000 characters in length. This also applies to quote tweets and replies.
Google announces ChatGBT rival, Bard
Google is currently working on a ChatGBT competitor called Bard. The tool is described as an “experimental conversational AI service”.
