Twitter GIF Search - The Search is Over
Twitter GIF Search. The only thing better than cats or pizza.
According to Twitter, during the year of 2015 over 100 million GIFs were shared on the social media platform.
These GIFs expressed everything from emotions, politics, popular culture, and everything in between. Twitter has now made it even simpler to share GIFs through Twitter and Direct Messaging with the new Twitter GIF Search. Regardless what dance move, funny animal, or eye-roll GIF you want, search using the new GIF button by browsing keywords or categories. GIF categories range from Dance, Oh Snap and YOLO - just to name a few. The GIF button is available for iOS, Android and Twitter.com, and GIFs are supported from GIPHY and Riffsy.
Launch the GIF search within Twitter and you will be able to search through different GIFs by description or keywords.
Beyond personal use, GIFs have also become a marketing medium form that cannot be ignored. Here's why you should include GIFs in your next campaign!
- Show brand personality, stay trendy, and have fun
- Can create value by educating
- Promote special offers and events
- Can help relate to your audience
- Super shareable
Twitter isn't the only one making waves with GIFs - Facebook and Slack have also incorporated GIFs to everyday social networking. Did you know that GIF searching site GIPHY recently closed $50 million series C funding round at a $300 million post-money valuation? The numbers never lie!
