How to automatically post your Instagram photos as native Twitter photos

You took the perfect shot with Instagram, applied the perfect amount of filter. You then clicked to share to Twitter. Alas, it showed up as a boring link on Twitter instead of that perfectly taken and filtered photo of yours.

Sounds familiar? Thanks to the “Internet of Things”, you can use IFTTT (Short for If This Then That) to automatically publish your Instagram posts as native Twitter posts! IFTTT quite literally puts the internet to work for you.

How cool is that?! Here’s how to do it:

Step 1: Go to IFTTT.com and sign up for an account

Step 2: Search for your recipe

Step 3: Choose one of the Instagram to Twitter recipes

Step 4: Connect your social media accounts

Step 5: Start Instagramming and let IFTTT do the rest

Above: I posted a photo on Instagram and it showed up as a native photo on my Twitter profile almost instantly!Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think about it. IFTTT is great for automating your content when used right. There are thousands of other recipes that can make your life easier.
