Want to use trending audio but don't have the time to find them yourself? You're in luck! We update this blog every Friday with 5 options for trending audio on Instagram and 5 options for trending audio on TikTok.

What is trending audio?

Trending audio refers to sound clips, music tracks, or audio snippets that gain popularity and widespread usage on social media platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

Because these audios often influence user-generated videos and become associated with specific trends, challenges, or memes, Instagram and TikTok take them seriously when ranking content.

You know what? I could. - @goldenlifeofkenzo_

There are things you can do but simply do not want to. You can poke fun at those moments by using this audio. All you need to do is lip sync: “You know what? I could. I really could. But see the problem is I don’t want to.” Make sure to add text that highlights the statement you're responding to. For example: “Since you’re a social media manager you can just take my pictures”. Look at how @chezpeachy used this sound.

It’s raining men - @heysafo

The classic expectations vs reality trend. You can use this audio to debunk how easy it is to do your job. In the first clip, when it sings “It’s raining men,” you can showcase the expectations people have. Make sure to add text above: “How people think I do XYZ.” Once the song starts buffering you show the reality of your job with the text “How I actually do XYZ." This example by @hayasafo is a little bit too relatable.

Your vibe - fritzflat

This trend is making a comeback. You can use “if this is your vibe” to find your tribe online. If you are a product-based business, it is a great opportunity to showcase your product and aesthetic. Sydney (@myscatteredjoy) showcases her style for interior design in her video.

Original Audio - callitwhatyouwant.podcast

What is something you used to do but don’t do anymore? You can use this sound to highlight it. All you need is one take of you lip syncing “she's no longer with us” with the words “the version of me that used to (insert what you used to do).” You can take a look at Bex's (@life.w.bex) version of this trending sound.

You'll be fine🫶 - sophia.castiblanco

If you’re still hesitant about using this sound, this is your sign to use it. It has been trending for weeks now and doesn’t seem like it’s going away anytime soon. You can simply use a regular clip and add text sharing a wholesome moment while the lyrics “Just trust me you'll be fine” are playing. Or if you want to take it a step further, you can share some truths regarding your industry that people might not know. Take a look at how Sam (@kinda_healthy_sam) is sharing her own variation of the trend.

What did you do? - millsedits

This awkward moment when you have to make small talk with someone but you don’t know how to start the conversation. We’ve all been there. This sound is the perfect way to poke fun at it. Make sure you look a bit uncomfortable when lip-syncing the words “What did you do? Do you uhm. Did you wake up? Who . . . who did you hang out with? If you were to hang out with someone who were they.” @amaturingmillenial really embodied the awkwardness in their performance.

“How old are you?” “I’m 20” - Danielle Lim

Work is one of the places where you can become friends with people from different age groups. Pick a co-worker and use this sound to poke fun at your age gap, however big or small it is. The older co-worker can start off by saying, “How old are you?” The younger one can reply, “I’m 20.” Pan the camera back to the older coworker being shocked at their age. Here’s a great example by @asseenonsaroop.

No one has made this dramatic of a change yet by Jojo Siwa – Sugg.ting

JoJo Siwa has been dominating our FYPs with her new song Karma. There's a lot of content out there that you could use, but probably the most notable is an interview where JoJo describes her new look and brand by saying, "No one has made this dramatic of a change yet." To incorporate this into your social strategy, show a before and after of your product, a minor achievement, or just a spicy take. It's up to you whether you want to approach this trend in a sarcastic or honest way. @freckle.digital used the trending audio to show marketers moving between the fun, lifestyle marketing girly to the data girly.

“Omg, show it to me please, show it to me Rachel” – Colby

Do you have something you *need* people to see? Here’s your chance! This trending TikTok audio is the perfect opportunity for your brand to showcase a new product, look, office space, team member, influencer partner, and more. Check out an example by @joraandjoseph, where the on-screen copy reads “When he’s showing me a TikTok I definitely saw an hour ago but he’s a golden retriever and I don’t want to hurt his feelings.”

Just tell me it’s not the end of the line by Olly Murs – Ms_V - ms.verii

The awkward eye contact in the elevator trend opened the door to many creators and brands recreating cringy eye contact moments. Examples include @haleyybaylee trying to use her elevator in peace and @retirementhouse making eye contact in Grand Central. So what’s your brand’s version? What awkward eye contact is happening at your office? Are you trying to sneak in a break but make eye contact with your boss? Did someone see you use the last of the printer paper without refilling it? The possibilities are endless.
