Creating Your First Calendar in HeyOrca

Below you’ll find a video tutorial and step-by-step written instructions to help get you started with creating your first Calendar in HeyOrca

What is a “Calendar”?

A Calendar in HeyOrca is a central place where you’ll manage all your client-related data and social media posts.

Each Calendar allows you to:

  • Plan and schedule social media posts
  • Manage media
  • Collaborate with members of your team directly on content
  • Get approvals from clients or stakeholders on your content
  • Report on your results
  • Update user permissions and settings
  • And much more.

To get the most from your Calendars, it is recommended that you keep a separate Calendar for each of the clients you manage.

If you manage multiple Calendars, you can access each of your client Calendars and their respective settings from the dashboard of your HeyOrca account.

Each calendar allows you to connect up to 10 social media accounts and comes with unlimited users and media storage.


How to Create Your First Calendar


To create a new Calendar in HeyOrca, simply log in to your account and select “New Calendar” from the left-hand navigation bar.

Here, you’ll be asked to fill in some details about this Calendar like:

  • What name you’d like to give your Calendar
  • The time zone you’d like to schedule posts in


With that out of the way, you’re read to begin connecting your social media accounts, adding users to your Calendar, and managing user permissions. We’ll cover these steps and more in the next few modules.
