How to Connect Social Media Accounts to Your Calendar
Connecting your social accounts is easy in HeyOrca – it only takes a few steps!
To get started, make your way to the Settings section of the Calendar that you want to link the social account to.
Click on the type of social account that you would like to connect.
In HeyOrca, you can currently connect:
- Facebook Pages
- Twitter Profiles
- LinkedIn Pages
- Instagram Business Accounts
- Google My Business Accounts
- Pinterest Accounts
When connecting your accounts, you need to make sure that:
- You are logged into the account you are connecting
- You are an admin or have user access to the account through the profile you are logged in as
For example: If you are connecting a Facebook page for a client, you will need to be listed as an admin on their page in order to be able to connect it to your HeyOrca Calendar.
Most social networks will request confirmation for HeyOrca’s access to your account. The permissions are required for HeyOrca to publish posts at the scheduled times you choose. HeyOrca will not publish posts without your permission or share your data.
Once you’ve granted HeyOrca access to your social media account, you will be redirected back to HeyOrca where you will see your social account listed at the bottom of your page.
